The following roadway inspections shall be conducted by District maintenance personnel:
Linked to these directives are instructions, forms, and example of the completed form to be used for inspection of all routes on the State Highway System.
Please reproduce these materials as necessary in order to complete the inspection.
CoPaces shall be completed annually and performed by the Assistant Area Engineer, Maintenance (AAEM) between October 1 and November 30. The District Maintenance Office and State Maintenance Liaisons shall perform CoPaces inspection between December 1 and January 31.
Concrete Pavement Survey shall be completed annually and performed between October 1 and March 31. Semi-Annual Inspection of all routes should be completed at least once each six months as lutlined in the instructions. The instructions also give directions for performing these inspections.
Biennial Drainage shall be completed so that every instructure has been inspected every other year and should be performed between December 1 and March 31.
