Elder's Mill Covered Bridge Historical Marker

Elder's Covered Bridge was built in the early 1850's spanning Call's Creek, between Watkinsville and Athens. It was moved to this site in 1926. Gov. Jimmy Carter provided funds for major repairs so it could continue to faithfully serve local citizens.
