Georgia DOT has begun a widening project on McGinnis Ferry Road from Sargent Road to the Chattahoochee River. This project is scheduled to be completed July 31, 2010.
This project involves bridge reconstruction and approaches on peachtree street over the csx railroad (between underground atlanta and the five points marta station).

The Georgia Department of Transportation has begun a construction project on Peachtree Boulevard between between Shadowlawn and Roxboro roads in Buckhead. The project is part of the Governor’s Fast Forward Program and is designed to move traffic more efficiently and enhance pedestrian safety with a beautifully landscaped raised median and widened sidewalks.

The Georgia DOT has road improvement projects underway at the intersections of Roswell Road and Dunwoody Place, and Roswell Road and Northridge Road in Fulton County.

THis project involves the Widening of existing 2 lane roadway(SR 20 Grayson Highway) to a 4 lane divided highway from Cooper/Ozora Roads to Plantation Boulevard in Grayson, Gwinnett County. The project is 4.1 miles long with an estimated construction cost of $26,866,151.76.

As part of the Governor’s Fast Forward initiative, the Georgia Department of Transportation has begun a $47.6 million widening project on Georgia State Route 400. The project includes widening between Holcomb Bridge Road to Windward Parkway and between Windward Parkway and McFarland Road.
