Questions and Answers Regarding the I-285 Northwest TOT Lane Project

Information, documents or data released by the Department in response to questions from an individual proposer will be promptly made available to all proposers through this website.

1. Do competing proposers have a deadline of structuring a team by Friday Sept 1, 2006? Or alternatively, could proposers still structure a team even later on (but always prior to Competing Bid Submission on Oct 30), but with the only possibility of submitting under the same name we included in our Letter of Intend to Submit?

   
   Please submit to the Georgia Department of Transportation the name of the team or consortium under which the proposal will be submitted by 10:00 a.m. Eastern Daylight Time on Friday, September 1, 2006. You need to specify the principal partners that will be included in the team or consortium. For example, Bechtel and Kiewit Southern submitted the unsolicited proposal 2004-2 under the name "Georgia Transportation Partners". However, the team or consortium (contractors, consultants and subs) could be amended up until the proposal submission.
   
   
   

2. Could we also amend (add or delete) the principal partners in our consortium up until the proposal submission (provided that at least the firm or firms that submitted the Letter of Intention to Submit are still part of that "final" team)"?
