I-75/ I-575 Northwest corridor Notice


The Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) has received unsolicited proposal #2004-2 (TPro # 7218) from the Georgia Transportation Partners pursuant to the Public-Private Initiatives of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated, as amended in Section 32-2-79 and 32-2-80, O.C.G.A. The scope of the project includes the development, design, construction and financing of improvements in the I-75/ I-575 Northwest corridor.

In accordance with the Board Rule and Policy Implementation Guidelines, the Initial Review Committee (IRC) has determined that the unsolicited proposal meets the established eligibility criteria for Public-Private Initiatives. Notice is hereby given that GDOT has received the above referenced unsolicited proposal and will accept public comment and any competing proposals over a 90 day period ending March 10, 2005. In accordance with Board Rule and Policy, notice is hereby provided that any prospective competing proposer should submit a Letter of Intent to the Department at the address shown herein by January 9, 2005. Competing proposals are to be submitted according to the single phase proposal requirements.
