The Offfice of Right of  Way is responsible for the orderly and timely acquisition and clearance of all properties and rights necessary for construction of State-aid and Federal-aid transportation systems. The functions necessary to achieve this responsibility are Appraisal, Appraisal Review, Negotiations, Relocation Assistance, Condemnation, Property Management and Plan Review.

Are you interested in becoming a Right of Way consultant?
A Right of Way consultant is a real estate professional who is pre-approved by the Office of Right of Way to perform various functions for the Department on an as-needed basis.  If you are interested in becoming a Right of Way consultant:
