transportation system ·

improve service levels ·
Facilitate
interregional connectivity ·

development · Enhance the quality of life (and the environment) The ISP is a comprehensive program of projects to meet travel demand and provide mobility for the horizon year 2035. Potential funding sources to implement these projects have also been evaluated. Finally, the ISP proposes decision-making and project development guidelines for upgrading the Interstate System. The work program for the development
of the Interstate System Plan was organized into three major phases with defined
tasks during each phase:
Key stakeholders and the public were involved in the ISP's development at all critical phases, including seeking out those who are either traditionally underserved by the existing transportation network or those who may be significantly impacted by future decisions.
