Welcome to the Field Districts Division Home Page!

The Georgia Department of Transportation is divided into seven districts which are responsible for operating and maintaining the transportation system at the local level. Each district has a District Engineer, who is responsible for planning, organizing and directing the activities of the district. Districts are also subdivided by area offices, which are overseen by Area Engineers.
